When you think of the seasons, vivid images often come to mind. Winter brings snowy landscapes, chilly air, and long, peaceful nights. Summer is all about sunshine, swimming in cool pools, beach adventures, and bright, endless days. But at Camp Timothy, Spring is something truly special—it’s a season of growth.

Spring at Camp Timothy means vibrant green fields, the soft peeping of baby chicks, playful bunnies, and celebrating the resurrection of Christ—a season of renewal, new life, and fresh beginnings all around us.

We believe there's something deeply important about kids being outside, running through the grass, and soaking in the beauty of creation. But we’re going beyond just outdoor play—we’re ready to roll up our sleeves, dig into the soil, and grow something new!

This spring, your child will have the opportunity to join us in the garden—learning hands-on, life-giving skills that connect them with the earth and each other.

🌱 Did you know? In a review of 12 studies on school garden programs, every single one found that students who gardened scored higher on science achievement tests!

Gardening is more than just planting seeds—it’s therapeutic. It activates the senses, helps calm the mind, improves motor skills, and strengthens essential muscle groups. One study found that boys with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who participated in gardening showed notable improvements in independence, adaptive behavior, and social interaction.

And when kids are involved in growing fruits and vegetables, they’re far more likely to try—and enjoy—them! Gardening nurtures curiosity, builds empathy, and creates a deeper connection to the natural world and the food we eat.

At Camp Timothy, we’re sowing more than seeds—we’re planting joy, learning, and lasting memories.
